Consultation on reducing PAN for Year 7 from September 2027
We have submitted a proposal to reduce our PAN (Pupil Admission Numbers) in Year 7, from September 2027. This is in response to various contextual factors, but specifically the fact that due to a declining birth rate in the area in recent years, the numbers of children now of secondary age is much smaller.
There will be a period of time where this proposal is open to consultation and feedback can be given. This will be from 1st December 2025 to 26th January 2026. Please note this proposed change will have no effect on our current students and neither will it affect the education of our new intake. The proposed change will help ensure their quality of education, as it will enable us to provide financial stability.
Please see the linked document for further details of the proposal to be submitted, and how to give feedback, if you would like to do so.
